Sometimes victories come in increments.
While we love to see massive victories like the passage of Constitutional Carry, or the expansion of our 2nd Amendment Preservation Act, not all our wins are that big.
Before I get to one of our latest wins, I want to remind our followers to be sure and “Follow” our Rumble channel today. Most of our new content is ONLY going to be on Rumble because YouTube is ramping up censorship efforts and we need a place to put our latest video content.

Several weeks ago, a gun owner reached out to me to tell me there was a problem with his Concealed Carry License.
On the back of the card was a warning that the license must be carried unless you are an Idahoan and 21-years-old or older.
For those that aren’t aware, Idaho is a Constitutional Carry state.
We first passed the law back in 2016. At that time, this wording on the back of the card would have been accurate.
However, the law has been updated twice.
We got the age limit lowered to 18 in 2019, and then we got the requirement that you had to be an Idahoan removed in 2020.
After speaking with the gun owners in Ada County, I reached out to gun owners in Canyon County and Gem County.
Both licenses issued in those counties also had the same exact wording, meaning the wording for most of the state concealed carry licenses is likely the same.
After discussing the issue with the Ada County DMV, we sent a letter to the Idaho Sheriff’s Association President, Sheriff Chris Goetz.
Goetz informed the ISAA that the issue was being taken care of, and that their preference was for no specific wording to be on the back of the card at all.
If you want some more details on this victory, you can watch the video below:
This is what the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance is all about.
We don’t just sit around and email gun owners about important information, although we do keep you guys informed about what we are working on.
But we do more than just give out information. We get out and talk to gun owners in person.
We travel around the state to fight for you, no matter how “small” the issue is.
<<< HELP US FIGHT! >>>
The 2nd Amendment is never going to be in a situation where we can relax and let our guard down.
We must be eternally vigilant in defending the right to keep and bear arms. Our enemies are not resting, and neither can we.
The Idaho Supreme Court proved as much recently when they came down on the wrong side of a critical 2nd Amendment case. You can get a recap of that important issue here.Â
Then, of course, there are elections every two years where we must keep gun owners informed about who is and who is not fighting for the 2nd Amendment.
The battle is constant, and the threats are ever changing.
If we hope to keep winning more battles in this fight, we need to keep reaching more of Idaho’s gun owners.
We do that through email, social media, radio, and TV ads.
More importantly, we are reaching out to Idahoans through our “Come And Take It” tour which kicks off August 31 in Saint Anthony, and finishes on October 14 in Boise!
Learn more about the tour at idahogunrallies.com!Â
At the end of the day though, none of this can be done without our members. You are the lifeblood of the ISAA.
That’s why I am asking all non-members to join the ISAA, today, and support Idaho’s only no-compromise 2nd Amendment organization!Â

If you are already a member, you can donate to help fund the tour. We need to pay for advertising, venues, and more.

No matter how you have helped the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance in the past, or how you may be helping us in the future, we thank you!
Idaho is the greatest state in the union for gun owners to live.
You are the only way for us to keep it that way.
For Idaho,
Greg Pruett
