The year is already off to an incredibly tenuous start, and gun owners are in for one heck of a fight in 2019.
 
On top of one Congresswoman saying about our President, “We are going to impeach the mother f***er,” to Speaker Pelosi promising a massive fight for gun control in Congress, we have our work cut out for us.
 
Additionally, we have our own gun control fight coming to Boise – – more on that in just a moment.
 
The 2018 Idaho legislative session was extremely disappointing in regard to pro-gun measures passing. The “Stand-Your-Ground” bill that passed merely codified existing statute.
 
It did nothing to close the gaps in our self-defense laws that need to be closed.
 
We intend to fight for better self-defense laws once again in 2019, and we’ll need your help to make it happen.
 
Additionally, the ISAA is preparing to lead the charge to ensure that all legislators go on record opposing Gun Confiscation Orders (Red Flag laws) which are sweeping the country right now.
 
In fact, Senator Marco Rubio (Republican – Florida) has just filed a bill in Congress (S.B. 7) to push Gun Confiscation Orders nationwide!
 
This type of treachery in both parties is too common.
 
We have been telling gun owners for years that you can’t focus on the party label. There are politicians in both parties that are problematic for gun owners.
 
And that’s why we need you to stand with the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance and follow our efforts to expose fraudulent politicians in both parties.
 
We need you to stand up to gun grabbers everywhere.
 
Last session we narrowly defeated gun grabbers in both parties who pushed gun control to within 5 votes of passing in Idaho’s House!
 
Rep. Melissa Wintrow, the bill’s sponsor from last year, has promised that she is introducing the bill again this year.
