Second Amendment Preservation Act Filed in Boise!

The Idaho Second Amendment Alliance’s Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) has been filed in Boise by State Senator Christy Zito!

Known as R.S.#28254, our SAPA legislation will shut down Joe Biden’s gun control agenda here in Idaho by expanding our current laws that require Idaho’s peace officers to ONLY enforce Idaho law where firearms, ammunition, and accessories are concerned!

So a federal AR-15 ban would fall flat on its face here in Idaho, under current law.

So would a national gun registry, a ban on magazines that hold over ten rounds of ammo, mental health tests for gun owners and anything else that the radical left tries to pass into law in D.C.!

This is how we hold the line against federal gun control and safeguard our freedoms here in Idaho for the next generation! But it’s not going to happen if the legislature block R.S. #28254.

So please take a moment and sign the petition that we have prepared for you, to your elected officials, insisting that he support the Second Amendment Preservation Act!

Tell the Legislature to Pass R.S. #28254!

The good news is that Idaho has a version of SAPA legislation on the book already. But the even better news is that when we pass R.S. #28254, our SAPA law will have the SHARPEST TEETH in the country!

Currently, if a state, county or municipal agency violates your gun rights by enforcing a federal gun control law — in violation of Idaho’s SAPA law — you could take that agency right into civil court for immediate relief and damages.

Our legislation will also instruct the Attorney General to intervene on your behalf, insisting that the State of Idaho do battle for you against any law enforcement agency that violates your rights and enforced federal gun control laws!

And if the Attorney General refuses to do their job, R.S. #28254 would instruct the state legislature to pass a concurrent resolution that would authorize them to appoint special counsel to do the job that the Attorney General wouldn’t do.

This is how we hold the line against federal gun control and safeguard our freedoms here in Idaho for the next generation! But it’s not going to happen if the legislature doesn’t take action on R.S. #28254.

That’s why it’s urgent that you sign your petition that we have prepared for you to right away, telling your State Senator and State Representative to publicly champion and vote for SAPA legislation!

The Second Amendment Preservation Act is moving in ‘red states’ all over the country. In fact, this identical bill just passed through the Missouri House thanks to the work of our sister organization, the Missouri Firearms Coalition.

And SAPA is also moving the Wyoming, Minnesota, Ohio, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Texas, and over a dozen other states!

So there’s no reason why the Idaho legislature can’t pass it here in Boise. But it’s not going to happen without your help!

So please sign your petition, urging the politicians in Boise to advance R.S. #28254 through the House and Senate immediately!

When you’re finished, please help us out in two additional ways.

First, please forward this email to EVERY gun owner that you know here in Idaho and urge them to send their emails, too.

Second, please make a donation to help the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance get the word out about this legislation and mobilize a grassroots army of support for it!

We can do this; we can stop Joe Biden’s war on gun owners and defend our gun rights, but we need the politicians in Boise to take action — so please send your email today!

For Idaho,

Greg Pruett

Idaho Second Amendment Alliance

P.S. The Second Amendment Preservation Act has been filed in the Idaho Senate by Senator Christy Zito! Now we need to crank up grassroots pressure for SAPA legislation

Tell Your State Senator to Support SAPA Law!

When you’re done, please forward this email to every gun owner you know in Idaho and ask them to sign their petition, too.

And if you can, please make a donation to the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance, so that we can continue to get the word out about this badly needed legislation!
