We are in the final days of the 2019 Idaho legislative session and we still have not had a hearing on House Bill 206, Constitutional Carry Expansion.

Gun owners have still not had a hearing in the Senate on House Bill 206 and they are becoming increasingly worried that the time to pass the bill is quickly running out.

We need you to contact Senate leadership right away and ask them to hold a hearing THIS WEEK on Constitutional Carry Expansion IMMEDIATELY! 

These are the simple steps you can take right now to get House Bill 206 moving again!

1. Copy and paste the emails below into your email provider:

2. Copy the following into the “Subject Line” of the email: Please Hold Immediate Hearing on HB206!

3. Finally, copy and paste the following message (or one of your own) into the body of the email:
    “Dear Senators, the end of the legislative session is almost here. Gun owners have had no major victories in the fight to restore the 2nd Amendment this year. House Bill 206 is our last hope to get something good through the 2019 Idaho legislative session. We would love a chance to have a hearing on the bill this week before it is too late. House Bill 206 expands our already existing Constitutional Carry law to 18-20-year-olds inside city limits. Please remember these adults can already open carry everywhere in the state with no permit. They can also carry outside city limits concealed, with no permit. What our laws currently do is make these law-abiding adults criminals simply for putting their coat over their handguns inside city limits. Gun grabbers from Moms Demand Action are doing everything they can to stop this important bill. We would appreciate a hearing in the Senate and a full Senate vote so we can send it on to Governor Little. Thank you for your time!”

Time is of the essence!  

The final predicted date for the legislative session to be over is March 25th. That means without a hearing this week, NO pro-gun bills would pass this year.
